BoatExpress
has all the tools required to draw the detailled
plans of the boat. From the following plans, one can see that the tools
are flexible enough to represent boat components. The important point
is that once the component is traced, its centroïd is
automatically calculated and a mass may be assigned to the component.
The component's mass of all components drawn on a canvas is
cumulated and the corresponding CG is calculated. The calcul of
the boat CG is a long and monotonous job that must be done. BoatExpress
has the tools to make the job faster with many of the tasks automated.
